Whats so complicated about a maxi?!

My favorite episode of Rachel Zoe is when her assistant was in a meeting with the buyer's from Nordstrom and they didn't pick up any of the maxi pieces from their Spring Collection. All of Rachel's employees were terrified to tell her. When they broke the news Rachel Zoe's response was something along the lines with "What's so complicated about a maxi! someone please tell me! i wear them everyday". Which she totally does, and makes them look fab.
I think there is something so effortless about a maxi, and helps when your feeling not so thin. Its like smoke and mirrors, it hides a multitude of sins. And its so easy to dress up.
I also LOVE the look of throwing a sweater over a maxi, or tying a long shirt over it. Very chic and cozy. I'm having dinner with one of my dearest friends Brittney, who has incredible style. We catch up and dish about all our favorite trends, and latest beauty finds.
